As I’m terribly late in my calender... Ineed to résume, cut, synthesize... Here it is a speed up version of my first week ans its imperatives:
- To sleep and have my rythm back (not so easy in a 6 beds room... with people who comeback to party at 6 a.m. and even worth to get up early without awake others... Did you have notive how much a suitcase zip is noisy...).
- To open a bank account but first step... to find the bank... especially when you’re living close to Chinatown where the english is not the main language...
I was amazed to see how many chinese are living here!! we say one billion of chinese... are they include here? don’t think so... Anyway It’s quite cool ‘cause I love their foooooood!!
- To find a house.... pfffff so easy I just need to log in shareaccomodation or gumtree and that’s it!! bahhhh Actually it’s not soo easy... After the 10th calls... I’m starting to freak out... No flat with the possibbility to have my own room... I still decide to visit one just in case just have a look... and very close to the backpacker very convenient to move... A huge turk open the door, ask me to let my shoes outside, and make me the visit of the flat in talking with a deep and very slow voice... in switching on lights one by one..... scarryyyyyyyyy!!
- To send my resume&cover letters to agencies and log in all jobsearch websites...
- To decide to take, after 3 days of browsing, a real meal... just by myself... nice... but to wagamama!!
- To stop to let my computer anywhere...
- To meet my sister’s friend, anne- claire and after 5 days, since my arrival, to go to the beach!!
One thing is sure after this tiny week what I can tell you: sydney has some great potential!!! Not scarry anymore!!
